Car-shopping site Autotrader said it has launched a new television ad campaign featuring animated characters from Disney Pixar's "Cars 3," the latest of the "Cars" movie series taht will make its debut in theaters on June 16.
The 30-second Autotrader ad showcases distinctive personalities of the "Cars 3" characters, in reference to Autotrader's personalized search capabilities. The spot ends with: "Every car has a personality. Find the one that fits yours at Autotrader."
The Autotrader television ad debuted on the TNT network during the NBA Playoffs. Additional ad spots will air nationwide during sports and entertainment programs. The ad will also air via digital media such as on Hulu and ESPN Deportes Radio. The ad can also be seen on Autotrader.com or via the brand's social media accounts.
"Collaborating with Disney Pixar's 'Cars 3' was a natural fit for Autotrader for more than the obvious reason of the spotlight our iconic brands share within the automotive space," Jessica Stafford, vice president of marketing, Autotrader, said in the release. "Much like the 'Cars' franchise, Autotrader shares a personal connection with people of all ages and at all life stages, and we feel this is reflected in the playful content we developed with the Disney and Pixar teams to further drive excitement for our brand and the upcoming premiere of 'Cars 3.'"
