Kia Motors is revamping its brand and is stunning automotive audiences with its new Kia Stinger sports sedan, a release on Ancira Kia's website said.
The Stinger debuted in Asia at the Seoul Motor Show and demonstrated acceleration to 62 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds, beating the original Kia estimate of 5.1 seconds, the release said.
The sporty, chic Stinger GT models offer both performance and luxury. The Stinger GT has a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine and is the fastest accelerating Kia ever. It has a maximum speed of 168 miles per hour.
While the Ancira Kia website did not mention when the Stinger models will be available for purchase, it did mention the Stinger has won awards at two North American car shows.
