Broad-based interest growing in new Kia Soul

The 2017 Kia Soul is garnering broad appeal with its turbocharged Exclaim model, Findlay Automotive Group said in a recent release.

The vehicle, available with a 1.6-liter, 201-horsepower, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch Sportmatic transmission, brings out a new youthful approach in the automotive business, combining performance with high gas mileage ratings (of 28 miles per gallon, combined city and highway), the release said.

The Exclaim has a strong amenity package which includes 7-inch touch screen with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so the driver can tie together elements including music, maps, text messages and contact lists. The Exclaim also has options like heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, remote start, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection and a panoramic sun roof.

Automotive publications including Car and Driver have given the Exclaim rave reviews and interest levelshave shot up dramatically, the release said. A wide range of drivers are showing interest in the vehicle, young people who appreciate the exterior and the sportiness and older people who appreciate the safety features, the release said.
