Asbury Automotive Group CFO stepping down

Asbury Automotive Group, based in Duluth, Georgia, appointed William Stax, Asbury's corporate controller and chief accounting officer, to be its interim principal financial officer until it names a new chief financial officer.

Keith Style, who had been Asbury's senior vice president and chief financial officer, recently resigned to become president and chief financial officer of a privately owned company, Asbury said in a press release.

"We thank Keith for his valuable service to Asbury over the last 13 years and wish him well in his next endeavor," Asbury President and CEO Craig Monaghan said in the release. "We are pleased that Keith has agreed to remain with the company until after we file our annual report on the Form 10-K for the year ended Dec. 31, 2016."

Style said it was a privilege to work with the Asbury team. "I'm very thankful for the opportunities and support both he ( Monaghan) and the board provided me during my years at Asbury," Style said in the release.

Asbury Automotive Group, a Fortune 500 company, has 79 dealerships and 24 collision repair centers.
