Ford unveils fuel-efficient 2018 EcoSport SUV

Ford recently introduced the 2018 EcoSport SUV, which will be sold in the U.S. market for the first time.

The Basil Family of Dealerships said the 2018 EcoSport features a 1.0-liter, turbocharged 3-cylinder engine and provides an option to upgrade to the 2.0 Ti- VCT 4-cylinder engine that also offers an all-wheel drive capability.

The new model includes the Blind Spot Information System, which is designed to assist the driver while switching lanes or maneuvering around cars.

The 2018 EcoSport also features the MyKey technology that enables users, such as parents, to set speed and audio volume limits for the car to boost safety.

EcoSport showcases an “auto start and stop” system that automatically turns the engine on and off at stop lights or when the vehicle is stuck in heavy traffic.

The SUV can also be bought with a cold weather package that includes a heated steering wheel and de-icing wiper blades.
