Toyota's FT-4X aims to satisfy 'urge to escape'

Jones Junction provides a preview of Toyota's latest concept vehicle, the FT-4X, that debuted recently at the New York Auto Show.

The vehicle is a crossover similar in style to the retired FJ Cruiser or Toyota Land Cruiser, an article on the Jones Junction website said. The vehicle is slightly reminiscent of the Jeep Renegade or Honda Element.

The new FT-4X Concept is ruggedly charming and designed to satisfy the “growing urge to escape,” the article said. But it’s what the FT-4X boasts on its interior that has us chomping at the bit for its arrival.

The FT-4X has loads of removable amenities, such as a navigation system, sleeping bag, entertainment system, dome flashlights, water bottle and a hot/cold box. All of these removable features make it great for camping out in the wilderness.

This new concept crossover is still just a concept with no actual release date listed.
